U Scared of Birds???

A day with Pauline and bad Acne...haiShe is the first person I've ever met in my life who's scared of birds.

Yes, birds.

Pauline suffers from ornithophobia.

We always suspect Pauline poison the peacocks and they kinda sense that impending doom when she's around so they don't really hover around their old home TAS anymore... So sad, coz I kinda like to observe peacocks within close proximity. I always wonder what goes on in their brains as they eyed their surroundings surreptitiously. Yes, we call them bird-brained but are they really that dumb and stupid? Maybe they do think. Just like us. And probably think we're stupid as well.

I have always sensed the aura of mystic surrounding peacocks. They were regarded as Goddess Hera's favourite pet. In fact, it is a well-known bird across many cultures and traditions. There is actually a constellation down at the southern hemisphere named after the peacock because the shape of the constellation resembles the magnificent plumage of this fowl.

From a Feng Shui perspective, shifu said that peacocks symbolise beauty and dignity. It is said that the 'eyes' of the plumage helps drive evil spirits away. (Okay err, it doesn't work for me.) I have came across certain paintings that potray peacocks attracting peahens and in that sense, it symbolises love and romance. Works best for singles who would like to seek love when such potrayals are placed in the SW sector of the home which is represented as the Kun Trigram, according to 8 Mansion FS Theory.

See? I know my stuffs; even after TAS lifestyle eroded me.

And I can't resist the temptation to put this hilarious snapshot up... These funny creatures bang my lecturers' cars. This Sentosa management's warning came a wee bit late, I would say.

But poor Pauline. I'm offering to sponsor her with free admission to Bird Park and Anita's sponsoring her a free meal with the birdies there and she's adamant in facing her phobia.

Listen Pauline, if you ever catch 'The Crow', you may just find peacocks cuter..
